The Korea
National University of Transportation (KNUT) is currently accepting scholarship
applications from applicants interested in pursuing postgraduate studies (Master’s
or Doctoral) in the Department of Safety Engineering at KNUT, which focuses on industrial
safety and risk management science.
Awardees chosen
to benefit from the scholarship will conduct their Master’s
studies at KNUT for four (4) semesters, which takes approximately two years of
study, or six (6) semesters (three years) for doctoral students, during which awardees
will receive the following provisions:

Annual tuition fee waiver of ±KRW 4.8 million
for Master’s Study, or ±KRW 5.2 million for Doctoral
Study,
·
Financial support for accommodation fees, and
·
Financial aid for international academic conference
participation.
To qualify for
the scholarship selection, all applicants must meet certain requirements,
including but not limited to a Language Proficiency Certificate of either:
·
TOPIK (Korean Language Proficiency): Level 4 or
above
·
TOEFL: PBT 530 / CBT 197 / iBT 71
·
IELTS: 5.5
·
TEPS: 600 (New TEPS 326)
·
TOEIC: 675
In the case
that applicants have yet to obtain and achieve adequate language proficiency scores,
the applicants may submit a recommendation letter issued by professors or
supervisors at KNUT in place of the language proficiency certificate.
